To use Far Manager with red49 you’ll nedd to flash a special firmware, then you would be able to access the file system and make any changes necesary, then you just have to flash again your main firmware and everything will be as before but with your new changes in the phone file system.
Far Manager will need the SEFP plugin, you can download all the files needed from here.

To install the SEFP plugin, go to the path where FM was installed to and extract the files from the plugin inside the folder “plugins”, then run the sefp0.10.0.51patch.exe file.

To flash the firmware you can use XS++ that can be downloaded from https://guilleml.wordpress.com/2008/03/03/patching-k750i-red49/

The firmware to flash before accessing with FM: k750w800_r2e_dcu.49r.rar
Far Manager: FarManager170.exe
SEFP plugin: SEFP.rar

  1. I Have a recommendation for Sony handsets it is a cool add on for it. It’s called i-Citizen and it came out recently. It’s the world’s first 3D world and the k800 works like a charm on it. Its fun to play and you can meet people and chat to them as you might have guessed. They have promotions where they give away PS3’s and Xboxes to people in a place called i-Bid in the app. Its beta release was announced in March 2008 and anyone can give it a try. You can get it from your mobiles browser or your pc by going to http://wap.icitizencommunity.com.
